Thoughts on Barclays Tech?
any insights on Barclays Tech (menlo), given that it's in menlo close to VC and PE would it be a great opportunity especially for TMT?
please hold the fluff, I want pure unadulterated advice and honesty:

For PiperJaffrayChiang to ask to hold the fluff, please do the same for other posters going forward...wrt to the question, they retained some of the key Lehman MDs there, but aren't back to their old reputation. They should be a top 5 going forward, but prob won't crack the MS/GS/JPM/CS top spots in tech unless it is a debt/lending role. Anything in Menlo will give you a legit crack at growth equity (TA, TCV, etc) if you have decent experience and develop domain expertise in a relevant vertical (think SAAS, cloud, social media, cleantech)
