Thoughts on DB ?

Hello, Would appreciate any insight on Deutsche Bank New York in regard to culture, WLB, and exit opps. Interested in TMT group: Any insight on deal flow and exit opps, as well as group culture ? Thank you ! Cheers

I feel like UBS is better no? It was better pre-acquisition of CS, and I don't see how it can suddenly become worse now. Year to date UBS is 7th in global IB fees and 8th in global M&A fee's, while DB isn't t10 in either. I am not the biggest UBS fan, but post-acquisition UBS is clearly better than DB.

Can't speak for every group, but you should be able to get a great experience at DB. You won't be working on the most glamorous deals all the time, but plenty of deals still come in and you'll definitely learn a lot. Culture broadly seems pretty good across groups compared to what I've heard from peers at other banks.

From my experience DB has a good culture across the bank. I would say best groups from a culture and deal flow perspective are Regll, Sponsors, and Consumer. This is just from experience and what I’ve heard.
