Looking for lateral opportunities and heard that this office has gone through an expansion in the past year with big plans for the future. Curious to hear anything you guys might know about deal flow, exit opps, and culture given this is one of Moelis's less prestigious offices.

Check the team section of the Moelis website, or linkedin. i don't claim to be up to speed on any expansion, but not too long ago the SF office was tiny. as in 1 or 2 coverage officers. keep in mind that at a lot of firms, the SF office needs to have some heft to it, because the home office is NYC. but Moelis' HQ is los angeles, so its fair to ask why they need lots of people in SF when there are all the resources of a full service bank a 40 minute flight away.
