If for a junior IB role, negotiating is useless as comp is standardized. Even if the bank is below market, they’re not going to budge for an entry level hire.
Yeah for analyst role at BB comp is standardized so you're not going to get anywhere trying to push your base. There may be a little flexibility on your signing bonus if you're moving from far away but still not going to be a material amount.
Try to negotiate a guaranteed bonus, a singing bonus, or a guaranteed promotion.
Given the current market, I doubt you succeed unless you can credibly show a track record of top bucket bonuses at your current shop
