Too hasty?
Hello. 2 weeks ago I started a 4 month off-cycle internship at a small fund - and I was wondering if it would seem too hasty if I start reaching out (cold emailing) to IB boutiques after a couple of weeks or so in order to land an off-cycle in late May.
I already have a strong relationship with one boutique in particular, and I was thinking of reaching out to the MD (Already had a couple of meetings with him and his team (They advised my previous company on a call option agreement)+ a one on one coffee chat)
Tldr: Is it ok to cold email/apply with IB boutiques 3-4 months prior to when I would like to start?
