I am an incoming intern at Nomura and will soon be ranking my preference on which group to join. Hence, I just wanted to get some insight from someone with more experience regarding which group would be the best in terms of deal flow and prestige/exit ops. Appreciate the help!

FSG, FIG, Private Debt and M&A have had the most activity at Nomura despite the markets. TMT is among the worst groups at Nomura at the moment as they laid off over half the team
Private debt is its own group outside Levfin or FSG
What about LevFin?
Does Nomura actually lead any M&A in North America?
They haven’t but are trying to grow their M&A advisory in North America
Layoffs across C&R too. The team mostly pitches and hours are crazy
Probably Greentech but it's very sweaty
I think it hires individually though.
Second this, Greentech is a top renewables group but isn't it just in CA or are they in nyc too?
