Transferred to NYU CAS. What now?
Dear,
I finally got an admission from NYU CAS as a sophomore transfer. I feel really excited and proud of myself for what I have achieved thus far. Yet, I have this concern about the fact that NYU CAS is not a target and it's only growing quickly. I know I would enjoy majoring in Econ in NYU and it's my only option as it gives me STEM, which is very favorable for international students like me. How should I get myself ready for the game again?
I want to break into buyside or MC after graduation.
Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

I heard NYU Econ sucks if you wanna get into the Street. Stern rules there.
Thanks for the response. I can't transfer again to Stern tho. How can I best prepare myself down the road? I want to break into IB or MC.
Master your technical skills as soon as possible.
Thank you! Which part should I start learning? I barely know modeling if that's where I need to start with.
Know the guides and most importantly network. You dont need to be a "master" technical wise but you do need people pushing for you. Is being in nyu non stern that bad? Will stern alumni not reply to non stern kids?
Are you in the right headspace right now to receive potentially harmful information?
Go ahead
