Transferred Twice in Undergrad

Hi guys. Let’s say I got a ib offer for summer 2023, and they ask for my transcript and find out I transferred twice in my undergrad career. This double transfer happened in my freshman year. What is the likelihood my offer gets rescinded? I’ve been at my current college for all of sophomore year and there’s nothing on my resume that I have lied about. I chose to only put my current college on my resume. If I give a reasonable explanation if asked about it and be completely transparent about what happened, will they be understanding?
Every single person that Ive told why I transferred twice, say that they understand that I went thru a lot that year and it was just a really shitty year for me, but they don’t work in high finance so I would like to hear some thoughts on this situation.

Personally went through this and left the first school completely off resume, with only current school listed. When it came time for background checks / etc, I listed every school and it was never an issue. This was at a BB, btw.

You are 100% fine. I transferred to my current university and only listed my current, like the other commenter listed both colleges for background check and no issue at all. It’s not even misleading, I actually recommend juniors and above to remove their prior university if they only attended for one year and their current university is far stronger that prior.

My man, nobody cares. If you kept moving up to better schools per transfer, people would respect the hustle.

It’s not a problem and your offer won’t be rescinded because you wanted to get better education

The more schools you attended, the more alumni you can reach out to while networking.
