Tricky Investment Banking Background Check: Started a non-profit that went bust 5 years ago.
I started it 10 years ago in an international country and it went bust after 5 years. But for some of those years, it had a glorious run. However it's been 5 years since then and I doubt I even have any of the incorporation materials.
Yet this was a great accomplishment for me and a source of learning.
In applying for Banking internships later on, how do I show this to the background check team. Do they even go that far (5 years ago) if I don't list it as a reference?
