Tricky situation for SA - Shall I crawl back?

Weeks before the end of my internship, the boss wanted me to return with a desk I didn't feel like I was a culture fit with (they were very intense, non-communicative people who didn't support interns that much). So I raised this and said no to that job. They tried to place me elsewhere but because of headcount restrictions, there was actually no offer for me.
