Legal close =/= actual close, integration’s going to take a long time and we’ll have to wait until the dust settles to evaluate the combined firm. Even over the past week a number of CS’s remaining solid MDs in EMEA have been leaving for other firms.
Yes, same time interestingly UBS has been poaching some MDs from Barclays. We'll see how it settles out. I thought people would be avoiding the drama entirely but I'd take UBS's hiring of those Barclays guys as positive.
