Views on Jefferies Healthcare group
Hey all. I was an intern at Jefferies this past summer and will be returning next year. From what I understand, 1st year analysts start out as generalists and then get placed into a group. I am really interested in the Healthcare group and wanted to get people’s opinions on it. How should I go about trying to get into the group from a generalist period? Isn’t it highly dependent on what your generalist staffers decide to staff you on (i.e. seems out of your control...)? Lastly, what is the consensus on the group - hours / reputation in the firm / lifestyle / deal experience? I have looked at recent threads but was hoping to get a current opinion on how they've been doing past 1-2 years. Thank you - really appreciate it.
bump!
Anyone?
As a former intern, shouldn't you know this answer? Or at least personally know someone who does?
Jefferies & Co. - HC, lateral hire interview advice (Originally Posted: 11/30/2009)
I have a on-site (nyc) interview with Jefferies & Co. soon and would love to hear the Oracles (wsoasis.com) advice, especially from anyone familiar with the Jefferies interview process, questions, etc.
This is a Lateral Hire interview for a lower level position (no higher than associate) within their HC group.
Thanks in advance and i apologize if this is in the wrong forum/thread.
