Wait listed for Superday

Hey everyone,

I just went through most of the hiring process for a MM firm. Had the first round with HR, second round with an associate, and third round LBO case study. I received word I passed the case study; however, due to hiring needs the super day won't be until Sept/Oct. I have checked in a few times (last time being a few weeks ago) and have yet to receive an update. When I did speak with recruitment, the HR manager emailed me to say they won't be hiring any analysts till Nov/ Jan and that I am eligible for a super day. They seem to be very careful about saying "I am eligible" rather than something more certain and definitive. I may be over reading this, but doesn't sound like interest or a rejection. Not sure what to think. Has this happened to anyone else?
