3.7+ obv more important is where u worked in the summer and warm recommendations
For data point worked at a decent MM (Baird, HL, etc) w return offer. Interviewed at Jeffrey/WF and a low tier BB. 3.7 gpa from semi target.
Do you suggest to start networking now for FT roles?
ill offer another data point. didnt even intern in IB (was at F500) and landed offer at MM . Gpa is 3.7 and was 3.7 at time of networking/interviewing
i dont think it really matters as much FT, had a 3.5 target and interviewed at multiple EBs and buyside from a mm
