Wells Fargo vs Guggenheim ?
I have the opportunity to attend a networking event (pre-mba) with Wells Fargo (IB) and Guggenheim Securities, but they are at the same time. After my MBA, I would like to go to M&A IB to then exit into PE. Which networking event would you recommend going to ?
a networking event doesn't really mean or guarantee anything, so it doesn't really matter.
I know, but it might help that’s why I am asking
I'm not in the M&A group but I've been at Wells for 2 years now and have really liked it. I'm in the NYC office. My comp has been good, the work life balance has been good, and the bank has been putting a lot of effort into growing out the Corporate & Investment Bank in general.
I can't speak on Guggenheim obviously.
Chat, is this even a real question?
Nothing wrong with Wells but if you want to get exits, then Guggenheim is quite clearly ahead.
I'd have to agree here
Pick which one has more people with beards
Lol
Networking events?… You have a lot to learn bud
Would say go to Guggenheim for the networking event given it's slightly more competitive in terms of process.
Guggenheim.
