What adjustments need to be made for final year before discounting to the present?

Hello,I was asked this question during my interview and I told the interviewer that I did not know the answer and I did not want to misspeak. The question was that what adjustments needed to be made to the final year in a DCF model (adjustments can be Capex, D&A, etc.) before discounting it to the present value.I did not recall when I had the formal training, this topic was mentioned at all. Do you have to be on a specific deal to know the answer to this question?Thank you!
