What are the most competitive (prestigious) I-banking groups at the different BB?
Just curious,
I know that the different BBs perform a lot of I-banking functions but they are known for specializing or standing out in different categories (IE Goldman Sachs M&A advisory). I am curious if there is any difference in competitiveness during the hiring process in between the I-banking groups (M&A, ECM, DCM, Restructuring, Lev finance) at the major Wall Street banks.

What's the most prestigious search engine?
The M&A group at Goldman is actually one of the least desirable groups LOL. That't the group that deals more with activism and shareholder defense as opposed to actual M&A.
