What do you guys do when waiting for comments
What are some of the things you guys do while waiting for comments pre and post wfh? I play Madden or Cod if I have nothing to do or prepare for PE recruiting

Unfortunately I move on to the next project / work flow and then by the time Project A comments come back I've sent out prelim materials for Project B to be reviewed. And so the cycle continues.

When i was in banking i used to go to the gym, hang out on the floor with other analysts who were waiting on shit, study for PE interviews, find new music, go for walks, etc.
Now I'm pretty much busy every day from 8 to 8. When i send one thing out I turn to the next. Sometimes I'll work on side gigs/hustles when i have a few minutes, but generally much less downtime now that I'm in PE.
Which do you like more? I feel like being busy for a shorter amount of time would be better? Working 9-11/12 is good with me for a few years but it’s the 3am+ nights that absolutely kill me. (I’ve only had a few and nothing really for a prolonged period of time)
I now much rather prefer the latter. The uncertainty of your schedule in banking would have killed me if I stayed in IB for longer. I'm older now, have a serious relationship and prefer to spend as much time away from the office as possible, so waiting around on comments and having nights blown up all the time is not something I would tolerate.
Honestly, this dynamic never really goes away though. Still have plenty of nights in PE where it's quiet and then things come up, but it's much less frequent and you can usually see it coming.
Bask in the opportunity to do absolutely nothing and shut my brain off for a few mins. Recently have been watching tons of Dr Phil. Life is good
