What should I do? - First year undergrad in Toronto

I just finished my first year undergrad in Toronto with one horrible part-time internship during the year. I didn't have what it takes to get a full-time summer internship so I decided to work a crappy job instead. My question is what can I do this summer in order to increase my chances of getting a good full-time internship next summer or maybe during the year ? Are there any good online courses like modeling course at WSO I can take or is it too early ? It just feels like I'm wasting this summer. Any advice is highly appreciated ;)

I'm planning on taking WSO's financial modeling course, I reccomend you do as well. If you notice on Td Securities website, they require IB analyst interns to be "adept at financial modeling". It can't hurt to take it, certainly shows interest and initiviatve in my opinion. Enjoy your summer too, trust me don't take it for granted..I'm interning and boy do I want to just go out there and kayak!
