What should I know about Bank of Americas Corporate Banking team in NYC as a VP

Ignore title

I’m currently working outside of NYC and have an opportunity to move to NYC as a Corporate Banking VP.

I have some corporate baking experience at another regional bank but that’s it.

What is the pay, hours and culture like?

I know their pure IBD team is a sweatshop so I’m wondering how much of that bleeds into their corporate bank since they’re under the same umbrella.

Also wondering about job security as a VP in this role and how layoffs have happened in the past.

I am a high performer so that’s not a worry, I just don’t want to get fired because some hire up is trying to restructure the business every 6 months (looking at you Citi)
