What to do if I can’t land a SA 2024 Internship

Rising junior and despite making it to some SD’s, do not have an offer at this point. I’m still networking/looking at LMM now, but any suggestions if I can’t land anything? Big 4 FDD/M&A Advisory? Would that make FT recruiting to IB difficult? Or get an MFin and extend my recruiting timeline (go through SA 2025 recruiting in the spring)?

There is enough post on this already. In short, AWM, big four valuation, or best yet, find a boutique bank that would take you in.

There is always gonna be situations like this, just make the best case that you can and grind every single possibility out.

Quote from my MD: “Have you ever heard a crack head say I have no money, Im not going to smoke today. No, they always find a way. So are you going to let a crackhead out hustle you.

Idk man some of those crack heads suck dick for money in that case I’m letting the crack head out hustle me
