What to remember/learn from transaction experience?

Hi. I'm a Sophomore who is on 5 year undergraduate track and having been interning in a corporate development team for several weeks by now. I was fortunate enough to be exposed to a billion dollar PE exit sell-side transaction. My responsibilities were update a due diligence material and attend the calls, especially Finance and Business diligence. How should I word this experience, so that I can have a better chance to breaking into IBD? Thanks in advance
