Whats the work life balance for interns at BB?

I'm interested in interning IBam not sure what kind of work-life balance to expect as a summer analyst. is it the same for summer analysts as it is with first year analysts? Im okay with losing my weekends and working until 11pm+, would just like to prepare myself mentally. Does anyone who has interned at a BB know? On average what time do summer analysts go home?

Edit: coverage group

I've interned at a BB, and I had a good work-life balance, but I was in a product team. People that I knew in the sector teams went home past midnight. I don't know how it is at RBC, but possibly it will be similar to banks similar to it.

Since you do truly seem to be an intern from your prior posts rather than just a troll - so you don't put yourself in an awkward situation at any in-person events, RBC is not generally considered to be a BB. It's kind of a meme on here but that's it.

Summer analysts are generally protected pretty well since you're not the main go-to on any deals, 9-11pm is a reasonable time to think about but sometimes that's 7pm and sometimes it's 3am.

If you can find any gyms that will let you do a 2 month membership, I personally think it's important for mental health to do things like that... usually ok to go to the gym at dinner hour or in the morning, join somewhere near work. Alternatively just go somewhere class-based that runs on "credits" and buy classes as you go - depends on how you want to work out I guess, but most gyms are a full year commitment.
