When is it too late to reach out to interviewers?
I have accepted an IBD SA offer from a BB and am due to start in a few weeks time. I'm wanting to network within the firm and am debating of whether I should get into contact with my interviewers from the final round. On one hand, it seems like a good idea to get my name out there before the internship but at the same time I'm worried as I have left it too late as I should really have reached out much earlier, and am worried this may affect me negatively. Any thoughts?
Do you know what group you'll be joining? I wouldn't hesitate to contact the mid/lower level interviewers (VP and below) and ask if there is any relevant research reports they could send you for you to get up to speed. If you know your group / have a group specific offer, I would direct that question to the staffer.
Yeah i already have the group allocations and have already contacted my staffer, my interviewers were an ED and a VP but unfortunately, none of them are in my group, do you think it's worth reaching out? :/
