Where do associates and up exit to if they don't like banking or PE?

I know corp dev is an option thats often mentioned on here... but for those that already did their MBA, and don't have the option of going to PE, where else might they end up?

If someone dislikes deal making (PE/IBD), they may be interested in trading/investment management. Many people, in IBD often go into long/short AM funds. Also, many bankers go into hedge funds. The roles are quite common, though it'll be harder to break in as an associate.

Also, venture capital is a common exit opp, though they tend to like people with good quantitative skills. Not to knowledgeable, on this sector, but it's pretty profitable (HF and AM is too, obviously.

Disclaimer: I'm still in college, but my post should be fairly accurate. If someone with more experience comments, they are likely more knowledgeable than I.

VC a common exit opp? Seriously? I think I've seen maybe 1 Associate of out a hundred make that move. I'd say that out of those who leave banking as associates the overwhelming majority will move into industry, likely into a corp Dev/strat or corp fin role. I've seen some go into tech startups in product or GM roles.
