Which offer to accept for PE longterm?
Hello all, I was fortunate enough to recieve an offer for both a lower MM IB internship and an investments internship in the asset management branch of a large F100 Company.
For backround, I am interested in pursuing traditional PE longterm. The investments internship will potentially allow me to work on the PE Co-Investments desk, as well as a RE PE desk.
What opportunity will set me up for the best chance at eventually breaking into tradional PE? I know about the notorious IB exit opps but couldn't find much on this type of AM's exit opps.
Any insight you guys could offer me would be really appreciated!

Which type of firm for MM IB ? I think IB will set you up better. Will be close to impossible from F100.
Do banking, co-investments/REPE within corporate is not the same and won’t allow you to lateral super easily
