Why is this superday scheduled for 8 hours??

I have a superday coming up that's scheduled for 8am-4pm. I also have another superday on the same day, but that one's only for an hour. The one that's 8 hours long says that it includes an excel test along with techs/fit questions, but does that actually take 8 fucking hours?

My question is: would it be okay to email the recruiter asking if it'll take all 8 hours, or would I just come off as uninterested in the position?

I'm really trying to go to both superdays as the second one is only an hour long.

I would not ask if it will take all 8 hours, unless you have some reason to believe it will end early (in which case you may be able to miss the closing lunch or something). A better strategy would be trying to get your 1-hour super day rescheduled.

If you do end up cancelling on either, but the 8 hour one specifically, try to do it as early as possible since a fair amount of coordination goes into one of these.

I’ve done a long superday where I interviewed with every member of the team/had a test and 2 meals. I took it as a sign of what I believed to be a good team culture that really cared about recruiting. Just my 2 cents

how would i go about getting the 1-hour superday rescheduled? if i let the recruiter know i have 2 superdays and I want to reschedule this one, then it shows that I don't value this superday as much as the other one.

or do you suggest something along the lines of "i have an important presentation on friday that I hope i won't have to miss out on and I'm wondering if it's possible to reschedule the superday to another day"
