Working out in IB
I am starting my summer internship in IB in a few weeks. I was wondering when people in the industry usually workout and if there are specific times each day you can bank on being “free” to workout.

Career Resources
I used to go at night (think 9-10:30pm) while waiting for comments to be turned - now because of change in lifestyle I go at 6am (work at a MM with pretty good wlb).
Why do you go earlier?
Most analysts would go between 7-9pm at the office gym while seniors are having dinner/family time and not sending/checking emails.
Then return to work or work from home until no comments are left unturned
What about as a SA?
All teams and shops are different. If you want a return offer be prepared to work as hard as you can and be responsive at all times. Your best shot at working out is early morning (6-7am) before emails start pouring: from seniors as well as juniors staffing you and subsequently recommending your for the offer.
SA in a busy M&A group last year - I used to work out between 8-9 am because we could go in the office at 9:30 am. Wasn’t that bad and I could do it 2-3 times a work week, which was enough. As an SA, expectation is that your coworkers shouldn’t know you’re working out imo, just make sure your coworkers know you’re good to work at all times. Was tough, but doable.
