3.4 GPA Master's in Management Non-Target SUNY - HELP!!

1 year intern back office experience.

I just completed a Masters in Management from a non-target SUNY with a 3.4 GPA. I took courses in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Calculus for Business and Statistics.

My undergraduate is in Sociology from at non-target SUNY with 3.0 GPA.

I keep getting rejected at all banks and consulting firms. I've applied online to over 2000 jobs, worked with staffing agencies for contract roles and haven't gotten a single interview. The recruiters at staffing agencies say that they're confident they can place me in a Contract role but I have to be patient. I reached out to alumni on LinkedIn and no one has helped.

I've been actively searching for about 4 months now.

What can I do to improve my chances to get employed in Finance? At this point, I will take any sort of middle office role.
