Did any of you guys hear back for an interview? I believe we're supposed to hear back soon but I didn't yet.

I didn't even check, they just sent me an email, asked me to confirm attendence, and another email about travel arrangements

Nope. I'm hoping they'd at least send a rejection email.
While I'm not an expert in the field of recruiting, it seems unlikely that they will respond to us over the weekend and Monday seems too late for DB to give out interviews, especially since superdays are supposedly on 12/12 (I'm assuming similar for S&T).
I do remember them telling me originally that interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, so I don't know if that means they might have multiple superdays etc. That seems unlikely, but it is still possible. Good luck

I applied to their corporate finance role on the day the application was due and I received an offer to interview last week. The interview is called for Friday.
Just to clarify, the offer came on Dec. 2nd even though I applied the last day. Does anyone known how technical the interviews will be?
Do you mind sharing your stats with us (ie: target/non-target school, GPA, work experience, etc)?
I applied mid November, a few days before the deadline, but I haven't gotten a response yet.
@"ActivistInvesting - I am from a target school with a mid 3.8 GPA and I had a hedge fund experience for my freshmen year where I analyzed investments. Unfortunately, there is not much published on this program, but for me - and this speaks to next year's applicants, as well - the essay is extremely important. Probably more important than your previous experience.
I echo this. The essay was brought up in both first and second round interviews. I'm sure that resumes serve as a weed out to begin with but then they take the essay very seriously.
Does anyone know how technical the interviews will be for sophomores? Will we need to know the 3 main mythologies for valuation, M&A, LBO's?
