How did you do in college?? Is it what you know or who??
So i was wondering to all of the current wall street workers here...and those trying to get there...how was your college experience? What did your grades look like? Were you the life of the party or the life of the library? Do you regret anything you should have done, but never did?
Also in terms of investment banking, i know brand name is important; but is it worth going to a school you may not learn anything from, but has a good brand name and could probably get you on the street? or is actually knowing things more important (though im sure they do have large training programs).

good brand and learning are not mutually exclusive
always aim at 3.5gpa or close to it, and above. network your golden balls off left and right. become active on campus with organizations (as in hold officer decision making positions to meet other eager students like you who can help with advice or with positive energy and eagerness to succeed in the least).
live to have no regrets. if you have fears, eliminate them because they will bite you back and it will hurt 100x more and try not to have "what would have been?" scenarios after college (i guess applies to both pro and personally)
depending on your school, dont blend it with everyday crowd and try to only hang out with the "winners" (those who have the internships/jobs you want) to learn from them because, more or less, you are a product of your environment.
aim for 4.0 not 3.5 bro. never shoot for mediocrity.
