Seeking advice for 2022 FT recruiting

Hi WSO,

I currently attend a non-target on the West Coast. I've previously done an M&A internship last summer and am finishing up my spring IB/PE internship before I start my internship at a boutique IB this summer. My goal is to end up at a BB in NYC for full time upon my graduation in Dec 2021 and have been told that FT recruiting kicks off after return offers are given to SA's. Would I be recruiting for FT opportunities that start in Jan 2022 / Jul 2022? Would it be too early to start networking since I haven't even started my summer internship and am already scouting for FT opportunities? I also plan on making a NYC networking trip in the fall if that may help.

I'd love to hear other people's experiences with FT recruiting and would appreciate any advice.

Hi sicquat, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)

More suggestions...

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
