Too late to join the club?

Just graduated with Econ degree and had my mind set on entering tech career throughout college and post-grad. With the job market for tech looking bleak, some of my friends have suggested to look at investment banking as a possible career since I’ve always been interested in finance as well. However, now that I’ve graduated it seems like it might be late since doing research it seems that banking generally recruits pretty early through college and seems like there’s a high barrier to entry. My ideal career is to do venture/fintech related career later on and it seems alongside tech/startups, investment banking exits are also able to go down this path. Thought I would share this to see what people thought or get some advice (even though I’ve heard this site is pretty toxic lmao). Possible to network my way in this late in the game?

Hey, I am a college junior who just went through the whole recruiting process and would love to offer some advice. I have an idea about the lateral market as one of my mentors shared his experience with me and I plan to lateral myself. PM me with your email and I can send over a couple of guides and pointers, an I do not believe it is too late.

Hey man, I appreciate the help but since I’m a new user apparently I have to wait 2 days before I can PM somebody. Hope I can reach out then
