Dry Powder, you work outside of NYC, though, right? Have you ever worked in NYC, and --if you did -- do you miss that energy or sometimes think about going back?

Big fan of the fact that as someone who lives in NY, there are only 3 types of women in NYC

Those that only care about your money and spending it

Crazy ones who are only focused on their career and later become miserable

Retards who choose to live in NYC working in retail/coffeeshops which should make anyone nervous about entering a relationship with them

After spending much of my life here, I've come to realize that the kindhearted and family-oriented women who are willing to work for at least a period of time (nurses, non 90-hour week finance jobs, corporate stuff etc.) are truly one in a million. A unicorn, so to speak.

Incoming MS from Analyst 1's who have lived in the city for 6 months.

Poster above, it depends on where you are looking for women in NY.

  • Queens - Most people here will be family oriented and not as flakey as in Manhattan. I think Queens has the most first generation Americans living here out of all boroughs, and many people stay here to be with their families, or eventually come back after having some fun living in the city. Areas like Flushing and Forest Hills might have some crazys, but I'm sure you can find a lot of family oriented women here.

-Brooklyn - has become the "cool place" to live in. A lot of non-NYC people live here, and people from the city have moved into Brooklyn because of trends. Some parts of Brooklyn have really weird scenes, there's a place for everyone. I've found that most people in Brooklyn are just living their lives and enjoying themselves. There's a club/scene for everyone here, from clubs where transgenders are doing acrobatics, to secret house/techno warehouses.

Bronx,Staten island - most likely family oriented, cause why would you live in those boroughs unless your family is from there, or the location is of importance to you (ex: you work in that area). Note: There's a lot of desperate medical students in the Bronx, that work at the Einstein Hospital. The hospital is so far from everything that they have very limited dating choices.

Manhattan - a wild place. you can be dating someone for 1-2 months and then get ghosted on out of nowhere. However, the advantage is that there's so many people that if you try hard enough eventually you'll find something long term.

IMO, if you're looking for a family oriented woman, hit up Queens, then Brooklyn.

Hope this helps.

Wise beyond his years. Girls are hot but they mostly suck in NYC for these reasons. You basically need a girl from an educated/wealthy background but wants to make it on her own, doesn't feel entitled, and loves kids - good luck!

What about TAO group?! "u coming to Lavo today? hmu Jon", "come to PhD today?" "huge names at marquee tonight, come. jon"

I don't know... Yeah. Almost definitely yes.
