Just wanted to ask if anyone else got the sd invite for diddy partners and knows what to expect. Small boutique healthcare shop focusing primarily on body oil and lotion deals for anyone that hasn’t heard of it. Wondering how hard technicals might be. Any input appreciated

I’m an associate at J.Epstein & Co, did my analyst stint at Diddy Partners, you should be expecting super day invites usually around mid October as that’s when return offers go out for previous interns
Technicals aren’t super difficult, Diddy Partners cares more about a culture fit than anything else.
As long as you’re up to date on the markets you should be fine
Recruited for Diddy partners last year and can confirm the super day was very long and VERY hard. It started with a group interview with 5 or 6 associates (all men), questions were mostly behavioral. They really loved that I put bodybuilding as a personal interest. Got through that and another group interview and had my final round with the 2 co-founders Diddy & Jay Z. I thought I had made a good impression but I didn't get an offer, they seemed to really be looking for someone who has experience with baby oil/lotion products

my friend Justin was at Diddy Partners as an intern. He kept getting invited to special training camps called "Freakends". He said it was pretty sweaty, but he has since left and has become an international pop star. Good exit opps i suppose but you get flogged.

Don’t do it. They ride you very hard.
There is a behavioral component- but it's not so much how you fit in the firm, it's how the firm fits in you.
Rumors are that the firm is actually quite large, and they think they can swing with large bulge brackets, so they expect you to be really flexible.
Word is they hand their intern program over to the new associates to run / train on you.
Technicals are very difficult to prepare for- lots of teasers that will stretch you quite a bit. Make sure you're a well-oiled machine- they like their new hires to be slick.

Had a friend who mentioned that he was "heads down for months." Others there can be "heads down" for years even. It appears that they like analysts who can maintain the "heads down" position for long periods of time even when things get hard.
