Zodiac signs brother
Novels. Try to read one a month. And on the daily I read the WSJ paper. Get it delivered. When volume picks up I reduce it to The Weeknd editions which is a good weekly recap
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Incredible insight into how to improve your understanding of the world and others around you, be more patient, and most importantly, be a better person. Plus it’s super interest to see the world through the eyes of one of the greatest leaders in human history, to see his unfiltered thoughts and flaws and philosophies on life. Highly recommend.
Hit the gym
Brush + floss 2x
Wash face + moisturize 2x
Minimize dairy, sugar, alcohol
Journal, get thoughts down on paper
Curious about the journal one, have never used one so far.
How do you use it realistically in a day-to-day? Is it more professional or personally oriented?
I've tried to keep it simple, and make it one big mix of whatever happened that day or week - the latter to start is much more approachable, that's what I started with and generally will fire up daily notes if I'm stressed, anxious, or nowadays sometimes when I just want to write things out that I'm thinking about - it really does change how you view your own thoughts when you read them back to yourself. I don't really structure it per se - generally it's a mix of what happened, things that I keep thinking about, cool ideas or random thoughts, how I'm feeling, or things I want to work on or task out to myself. To start - I recommend setting a timer, and a time, for 15 or 30 minutes - and just start. First couple times are awkward and hard, but it will get simpler from there.
My preference is to do it on physical paper, in an actual journal, something like a minimalist art from Amazon or whatever is what I've used in the past (I also burn through these as I use them for work where I still prefer taking physical notes on calls).
Digitally, there's a lot of good options - Good Notes, Nebo, and Craft are three that I've used and all I think can take your writing and turn it into text to keep that handwritten experience (or at least a rough approximation of it). The latter I'm now using more regularly, incorporating a lot more than just journaling - my calendars, task lists, and more active goal setting. It's a pretty nifty app, and there's some AI functionality that might be really useful as well. Haven't gotten very far there.
1.5x is the sweet spot
For what? Flossing?
Leave my alarm far from the bed
Go for a morning run
Listen to the FT News Briefing on my commute + read 2 or 3 articles
Write down a to do list
Write down one positive thing I have done throughout the day
Respond to all the messages before I go to bed (gotta be honest lately I have been kinda lazy and haven’t responded to a few retards for more than a week)
Hahahaha yea FT News Briefing is honestly such an A-tier podcast, it was my top 3 in 2023 Spotify Wrapped. One of us, one of us
......
Pray my rosary
Waking up at the same time every day is so underrated.
Wake up, get a coffee ready and jump right into ice bath first thing in the AM.
Drink said coffee, get changed and go to the gym.
After that we start the day.
How tf do you take an icebath everyday? Is it just ice cold water or you literally fill a bath with water and ice?

Exercise
Stretch (Stiff body makes me feel stressed)
Journalling
Meditate
Make bed
Never understood, and frankly pity, the people who dont have the time to exercise almost every day.
So you are willing to give at the very least 8-9 hours to your employer a day, but cant find one hour to give yourself and your physical health?
I get that family and kids can get in the way, but end of the day it's just an excuse. If you have any white collar job then you can afford a home gym. Dont have the space? Get a peloton. Or run. Yes with age your ability and free time to work out will diminish. But I cant imagine a scenario where I just accept getting old and getting fat
If you had only 1 car you could use your whole life, you'd better take care of it as if your life depended on it - and literally, in this case
