Fairly simple exercise here: How do YOU pronounce EBITDA, phonetically?

I'm partial to "e-bit-dah" with a an emphasis on the "E" and "dah" being pronounced almost like the Russian word.

I once heard "eh-bu-duh" said really quickly, sounded the most retarded thing ever - made me question the CEO's quality....

People do the "dee ay" to avoid confusion with EBITDAR

I'm waiting for a chance to say EBITDAR on Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Truth is that I'm not fussed what someone uses. There are bigger things to worry about. But I'm in the 'duh' camp.

I read this last night and laughed my ass off as I was studying up on technicals today.

EBITDAR (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, Amortization & Rent): Multiple used in Retail/Airlines.

"You often remove Rent because it is a major expense and one that varies significantly between different types of companies."
