I’m thinking of traveling alone What city do you think I should visit ??

I already have a decent idea of where I want to go but am looking for suggestions just in case there's somewhere I have not yet considered that is worth seeing!

Also thank you so much for the kind comments on my last post ! Means a lot

What continent?

Spain, Italy, Greece

Actually though, everyone should visit Seoul at least once in their 20s. An absolute blast of a city with unbelievable food if you’re not basic. I live in and love NYC, but Seoul is actually the city that never sleeps.

Also as a heads up if anyone happens to meet local Koreans to drink in Seoul. Do not try to keep up or you will die, especially with soju lol. I heard Koreans consume the most amount of alcohol in the world and they drink twice as much as the second place country (Russia).

If in the US, I absolutely love New Orleans, Santa Fe, and Austin. I think they can all be done solo, and if you like music and arts, they are good spots to see. If you are staying in the continental Americas, I gotta say, the person who said Costa Rica (not really a city) is spot on. Beautiful country, been there one years ago and it was amazing. For Europe, my family is of Italian descent so I've always loved the homeland, but it's not necessarily for everyone. If you go that route, Florence is probably the winner, but I personally love Palermo, Naples, and the rolling fields and hilltop towns of Puglia because that's where my ancestors are from. I'm also a big fan of Germany. I have stayed there multiple times and think that the lifestyle there is awesome. Munich and Berlin were both great. I love Spain but not as much for a solo trip TBH, so pass there. Last of all, see people recommending Istanbul. Been there and to some other parts of Turkey several times, and definitely loved it, but if you choose there, I would take a look at the current political climate there and maybe just be a bit cautious. Not sure if shit is still bad, but it was not too long ago. Happy travels :)

I love Naples. It feels like a more real city than some of the other larger cities in Italy. And not much sadly. My grandparents spoke it, my parents know a bit, and I don't know much. Kinda sad that the language is being lost to our family, I might try to relearn it. Luckily the culture has not been lost on us--we are a very stereotypical Italian-American family (kind of its own separate thing by now). Most on the italian side came either 3 or 4 generations ago, so it has been a while. We don't see our relatives over there too often because its far, and when we talk to them it's usually in English.
