TBH, it probably has good potential for success. Hating the United States and capitalism has never precluded anyone from succeeding in America as a capitalist. Kaepernick is intelligent, just not wise. A lot of unwise people are very wealthy, angry, and unhappy individuals. As a purely financial investment, I'm interested. This kind of garbage never seems to really make an impact on racism, but it sure is good at printing money:

"The quarterback and campaigner has partnered with Nike, Ben & Jerry's, and Netflix to raise awareness of racism and other injustices in recent years."

What is your basis for him being "intelligent"?

Relative to other professional athletes, he seems intelligent. Far more articulate than the average pro athlete, clearly he reads, he has interest in intellectual pursuits, and he's found a way to monetize it. That said, I think he's kind of a bad person. His hatred for America and white people and his seething anger are reminiscent of the Black Panthers and far less reminiscent of Frederick Douglass or MLK Jr--people who actually achieved steps toward racial reconciliation and black civil rights.

I think his behavior, words, Tweets, ads, partnerships, etc. do absolutely nothing to achieve goals of "racial justice" and simply cause dissension (and enrich him personally). I think he's kind of a bad person because I think his goal is dissension and not racial justice or civil rights. (I also reject a lot of his premises about racial injustice, but there is good faith and bad faith disagreement and I'm not sure to what degree his positions are even good faith.)

No matter what party you side with, AOC is an utter hypocrite and an abomination to our government. Advertises her policy the same way influencers advertise their "brand partnerships"

Yeah, but the sweatshirt was made in the US by union workers, unlike the merch of other political figures. Furthermore, it was a good way to raise campaign money.

[Year 2032: Conversation between President Ocasio-Cortez and Secretary of Labor Beta Soyboy]

Mr.Soyboy: Congratulations Madam president, factory workers are now making a median of $90,000!

AOC: Great news! We did it! What's the poverty rate in America?

Mr. Soyboy: Actually, it's 50%....

AOC: How is that possible?????

Mr.Soyboy: Well a loaf of bread costs like $100...

AOC: Well can't we print more money then? Modern Monetary Theory is clearly right ya know.

Mr. Soyboy: Great idea! You're such a beautiful, strong, and capable woman. I am so glad to serve you. I'll bring Senator Sanders.

[Enters Bernie Sanders bot. Bernie Sanders after being diagnosed with economicsitis, a fatal disease that only Socialists can get, uploaded his consciousness to a robotic brain with the help of woke Sillicon Valley technologists. But let's forget who paid for it. Taxpayers ahem]

Sanders Bot: Greetings Madam President.

AOC: Hello Senate majority leader Sanders. Apparently a loaf of bread is $100! Can we print more money?

Sanders bot: Sure thing. After all the Democrats control 90% of both houses and us socialists control the Democratic party.

AOC: Cool see you in a year and reassess.

[1 year later....]

Mr. Soyboy: Factory workers now make a median of of $180,000!  But a loaf of bread is $210?

AOC: My goodness! What could have possibly gone wrong? What are our options?

Sanders [While chowing down on a piece of chocolate cake thanks to a bio-engineered human body he re-upload his consciousness into that only cost taxpayers $100mil]:  I didn't pay anything for this cake but the price tag said $150. Sounds cheaper than $210.

AOC: LET THEM EAT CAKE.
