Grad school is fantastic and has a ton of guys on the street. Not sure about undergrad, but im sure that Kellogg guys help NW undergrads, so I think you would be fine. I dont go there so not sure, but I assume its a good spot

If you do well at Northwestern, you will excel career-wise. I know some guys and girls interning with virtually every top IB from Northwestern, some of them spend more time in NYC than IL during recruitment season. Moelis, PJT, Goldman, MS, JPM. To be fair, the ones I know getting shots at every firm are girls with 3.8+s, but even my friend with a sub 3.2 got a couple superdays with BB and firms like Nomura.

You are way over thinking things. Your work ethic and attitude will determine whether or not you get "locked in", not your undergrad school.

One thing I will mention is it is much harder to prep for IB technicals when you come from an econ background and have never taken accounting or finance courses. That said, from my experience, the technicals are typically easier and less common for Northwestern kids. The idea is you are all smart, and therefore can learn the necessary skills pretty quickly.

Hope this helps
