Red Bull, Mexican Coke, Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper

I usually don’t drink sodas though. I don’t recall the last time I had one. Maybe 2-3 years ago. Actually I had some Coke in a September Triathlon last year. And I drink Red Bull while driving on road trips.

Dr. Pepper is one of my favorites. Agreed on not drinking them, however I drink a lot of diet sodas.

I used to compare Mr. Pibb to Dr. Pepper all the time, but it seems Pibb has gone away for the most part

Caffeine free Diet Coke (getting off that caffeine habit). Have to admit, a cold Dr. Pepper is candy to a baby though. Especially the Dublin Dr. Peppers. Jarritos is legit, specifically the Mandarin flavor.

This is the grossest soda ever invented.

Dr. Brown's is better.  They also make a really good diet version that tastes exactly like the full-sugar one.  Their Black Cherry & Diet BC are also awesome, and for odd flavors Cel-Ray has to get a shout out.  I'm still trying to find a good diet root/birch beer/sassafras soda tho.

I'm also a big fan of diet Dr. Pepper when we talk mass-available sodas.  I really don't drink much soda though, and pound seltzer with lemon most of the day.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

A cold Dr. Pepper is the business. Ask any southerner, it's its own dessert. Apparently it's really good hot too and was a big thing back in the 60's and 70's. Never tried it, but curious now.

Another forum talking about little things in life and this forum reminded me of my favorite childhood drink: Crushed cubed ice and Cheerwine. I don’t drink soft drinks but this is my only exception. Will find it in the authentic barbecue joints down south. Cheerwine only located in the Southern states I believe but if you’ve moved down here, it’s a must try.

Jones Soda, and Grape Fanta/Crush. I prefer it so much more than the orange.

But what flavor of Jones? The Cream soda is dope for instance, but some of the other flavors are a hard pass like the root beer. I'll agree with Green Apple or the Blue Rasberrry though.

They best is if you go to a bar and they have root beer on tap and you get that in a frosted mug. That is irresistible to me and brings back memories of drinking it as a kid. Personal favorite is either Sprecher or Point

Worked in a kitchen for awhile and drank free fountain soda more than water. Had some bad blood work and largely kicked the habit entirely. My vice was Diet Coke.

Over the summer I caved and started drinking Diet Arizona Arnold Palmers; yes that 99 cent can from the gas station. It’s a cool beverage that hits the spot on hot days.

When I’m dragging and the coffee isn’t doing it, a rockstar recovery (no carbonation and no sugar) does it for me.

Otherwise I chug water like its water. Always have a 1 quart water bottle in arms length.

+1 SB for the Arizona Arnold Palmers. I get them whenever I'm out at CVS/Walgreens/etc. during the day, that and the sweet tea variant. People say all the sugar will have an effect on how you act, but it's never affected me in that way before. I've got a real problem with my sugar intake, especially with coffee and tea; I put far too much sugar into them. One of these days I'll stop, but not now. We'll see.

How did the soda affect your blood? Were you drinking diet?

Diet yes.  High blood pressure and unfavorable triglyceride levels.
