Introverts cuz it's literally more sustainable and efficient. You can achieve the satisfaction and utility of extroverts with lower costs - you just need to be by yourself playing the piano or reading a book, whereas the extrovert has to go out, make plans and find people. It's the same return with lower Vol - Pareto improvement

The “think out loud” aspect of hardcore extroverts cracks me up. Every little thing that hits their mind, they have to say. It is entertaining.

Definitely extroverts man (I'm an introvert). I think something like 2/3 of people are extroverts...so by majority rule through history it's extroverts that have dictated the rules of the game. Everything from a social lens is easier as an extrovert in that it comes more naturally

Now you could argue in the modern day the gap betw extroverts and introverts has narrowed in a massive way, which it has due to digitization / internet / etc. Still on balance favoring extroverts as a category but that gap probably continues to shrink some more, dunno

Yeah I tend to agree with you. I’m introverted too - used to be about 60/40, but now is probably 70/30. Some complaints I’ve heard from extroverts:

- saying too much and regretting it

- dealing with the Covid crisis and all the WFH alone time

My family’s name (the motto) is “fortune favors the daring or bold” and I definitely embrace that, but boy do I get drained going through rounds in a packed room of people. I usually am over it in a few hours and do the dip without telling anyone - haha

I think many of us are a mix of both. I want social interaction and that kind of stimulation every day, but I also want time for myself every day.

Knowing what makes quality time in each is the key.

I'm very introverted, but can put on an extraverted persona as needed.

Whilst one on one with an introvert, they can totally see that.

Whilst one on one with an extravert? They only see another extraverted person.

Long ago I learned that quiet and good gets nothing. I have to self promote.

Most of us, unless you are an extreme case, are a blend of the two. I'm somewhere between an extroverted introvert or an introverted extrovert. Depends on the day, my mood, etc. That said I've always enjoyed deeper relationships, smaller groups of intelligent people, vs. being in a big crowd. middle of the spectrum I guess.

It appears that extroverts have more fun but not sure they really do. The important thing is to be true to yourself and not try to be someone else. That gets old fast!
