Exit Paths - MM Opportunistic Credit Associate
What sort of exit opps exist for an associate at a top decile, $5bn aum fund?
In banking, I covered levfin & rx in a specialized industry (EB), but went to a generalist mezzanine fund recently. As I think about what could be the ultimate next steps, I was wondering what other people may have seen or done in their careers. Here are some options I have thought about below:
Banking: Going back to banking in my former industry group, special sits, or leveraged finance group
HF: special sits / distressed / opportunistic credit fund
PE/PC: I doubt I'd want to do buyout, but perhaps a more aggressive credit fund or to an industry fund similar that I use to cover

Hi pviiipower, just trying to help:
More suggestions...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
Apologies as this is not an answer to your question, but what's the rationale / reason for the move away from your current mezz fund?
