PE Analyst Comp
I'm an analyst at a PE shop and trying to get a sense of what market comp is. Would be great if people could provide data points with fund size + comp split by base and bonus.

Base: 90

Small carry
I'm intrigued that you get carry as an analyst.
A PE principal once told me that you should never expect to get carry as an analyst/associate, and that you you shouldn't even ask about it during the interview process. How did you get carry, and when did you ask about it/were you told about it?
Thanks.
Was told about it from the get-go. The whole firm gets it so it was part of the general comp / offer discussion.

these are insane numbers, what type of shop is this?
So all in over 300k? Very impressive. Also it is typical to source 60m worth of investments?
Firm AUM?
My guess is LeadEdge
Is 120 all in comp below market for a ~$1-2Bn growth fund in a tier 1 city for AN1?
I'd say its not far off from what I expected based on the metrics you provided
This is below market. There aren’t enough growth shops of that size with analyst programs to create a good list of comps but you are making well below what IB and almost all other PE analysts are making.
Does anyone have confirmed #s for Vista analyst comp (or just comp in general)?
On one hand, have seen threads that "vista terribly underpays", and on another hand I've seen Vista An1 as 95 base + 10k signing + 70k bonus + 30k phantom carry = 205k, and Aso1 as 140base + 160bonus + 50phantom = 350, both of which are certainly at or above market
Jeez, let me just clear this up since this comes up all the time. First year analyst is 10 signing, 95 base, 5 phantom carry, 90 bonus. No idea what associate is.
What would analyst1 comp be at mm tech pe/vc firm (~20 billion)? Internship prorated at $120k.
