anyone know how the industrials and bs group split has gone?
Split has gone well by most accounts. Both teams are strong, with biz services having a top tier rep on the street. The BS group head announced earlier this year that she was starting her firm so will have to see who they bring in to replace her but for now the co head of PE (former group head) stepped back in.
Is this for current first year analysts or second?

Recruiting hasn't kicked off. Info sessions will start late next spring and interviews in the Summer. Everyone should chill and enjoy junior year until then!

Yes - have had a few, but not sure how much it helps getting an interview though.
