Hi all- seems that information on LO AM as a path after IB/PE/MBA is often overlooked and not much detail on this forum on it. Does anyone have an idea how comp scales at one of the blue chip LO managers for a post-MBA Analyst role? I'm thinking of firms like Capital Group, T. Rowe, Fidelity, etc.
The reason you can't get a straight answer is because there is no straight answer. It depends on a myriad of factors, most importantly how much AUM you manage, your performance, the specific firm structure, and what sector/group you're in. The ballpark I've been guided to for the top tier (Fido/Well/Capital) is mid six figures within a few years, can get to a mil in 5-10. The big variable is how quickly you're managing money and then how quickly you can scale your AUM (mixture of performance and how hot your sector is)
It's not overlooked my dude lol it's extremely sought after in top MBA programs. Reality is there's 1-2 seats MAX per year at each of the top 5 schools. Comp ranges way too much per fund.

I think I’ve seen on here and heard from others that post-mba analyst at Fido is like $300k all in
Fido highest out the gate, north of $350 yr1 before sign-on bonus
