2021 IB SA RECRUITING (U.S.)- LATEST UPDATE

Hi monkeys,

Before anyone gets pissed seeing another 2021 thread, just wanted to write this up for many who are still uncertain about the whole process and not sure which firms are recruiting. From my understanding, these firms are either still recruiting or yet to kick off another round specifically for INVESTMENT BANKING roles in the next few weeks.

Please comment if there should be any changes to the list or if there are more banks not mentioned here that are still recruiting...

CERTAIN:

Jefferies (NY)

BofA

Lazard - M&A and Restructuring

DB

Credit Suisse

JPM

GS

PJT

Macquarie Capital

UNCERTAIN:

MS

Nomura

Stifel

Cowen

MS isn't done yet. I had a 1st round for NY IBD last week

Anyone have an update on Citi and its non core process? Would any current analysts happen to know?

Any idea if Jefferies Houston is still recruiting? Last I heard they were on a hiring freeze?

Just starting, talked to an analyst a couple hours ago actually.

From what I know so far, heard Citi is wrapped up. BofA may have another round depending on how many people accept offers. CS and DB kicking off soon. If anyone else knows has an insight into the process from reliable resources, chime in. Does anyone know if Jefferies NYC IBD is done with first rounds?

Not sure if Jefferies is done with first rounds, but I know at least one person who has an offer already. I didn't even get a first-round despite networking and even seeing Rich Handler speak in person at their office...

Do you go to a target school? I am on the same boat as well. I had networks pushing for me with referrals; yet I never received an first round..

UBS has been running through entry phone screens in the past week pre-first round

KBW has first rounds going on. Unclear if they’re just starting.

BofA has had SDs every week for almost a month now. I assume they’re close to done given they also had their accelerated program months prior.

JPM SDs are out and just starting (?) for regular.

Of the major banks (BB/EB/well known MM), only Barclays is left to go I believe

Nomura is still ongoing - received invite for first round on Monday
