CS Sponsors NY vs Centerview Generalist NY IBD SA
Not too sure what I want for the future. Thinking buyside/business school for now but anything can change. Thanks for your input!

Although geezydoe seems really set on Centerview, if you honestly think you're set on buyside, CS Sponsors is gonna be the way to go. Centerview recruiting is possible but it's just harder than CS Sponsors where it's almost a part of your MD's job to set something up for you.

If you really want to be on the buyside, go for CS Sponsors.
If you want buyside ops and good lifestyle, go CS Sponsors. Excellent MF placement and none of the grind you might experience at Centerview.
That being said, can't go wrong with either.
.
Exit opps - CS Sponsors. Lifestyle - CS Sponsors Getting Paid - Centerview
If you want to stay in banking for a long run, Centerview would be the place for you. Perspective of exit opps? CS Sponsors hands down.
someone brought up a good point that Centerview may not actually be the best place to become a career banker. CS Sponsors is famous for almost all analysts leaving to PE, but it is still possible that it would be better to make a name for yourself at a bulge bracket before moving to a boutique instead of starting at a boutique
Thanks everyone. Since it seems that the discussion has come down to this, can you elaborate a bit more on CS Sponsors' exit opps vs. that of Centerview's? Thanks!
Can anyone speak to the exits that CS Sponsors has had recently?
In last 1-3 years: WP, Apollo, Silver Lake, Oaktree, KKR, Carlyle, BX etc.

Centerview for B school though, youre practically a shoein for HBS once youve worked there
