Has anyone heard back from EVR 2020 process for first round interviews? I know apps were released just last week. Thnx
Also heard superday starts in august? anyone heard that too - why so late all of a sudden this year vs. superdays in May 2018
A contact informed me that they weren't pleased with the outcome of the May recruiting last year which is why they've moved it back.

Heard the same thing- superdays in mid to late august potentially leading into september. Contact told me first rounds would probably go out at the start of august.

Would there be a distinction on the portal between your application being received vs under review like other banks. Given its the end of July, I'm starting to wonder obviously what my status is
Has anyone gone through the 1st round interview process and would be willing to provide any insights as to what the phone calls were like? Wondering if its mostly behavioral or technical, or perhaps one call each, etc.

Yeah, received an email recently but spoke with an analyst on the phone who mentioned that first rounds will continue to be rolling out in the next few weeks or so
They've been sending them out since last week
First rounds 08/05 and 08/06. Super penciled in for EOW / beginning of next. Non-target and RX - unsure how the process and timeline differs for targets / other groups.
Realistically when should we expect to hear back if first round on 8/5 or 8/6? Last this week for super next week?
Are we only allowed to apply to a max of two positions for EVR? or is it three?
The timelines vary by school from what I’ve gathered. I do know that there was a round of supers late last week, and some offers have gone out for M&A at the NY office. The processes are happening on a rolling basis so I wouldn’t worry too much.

Does anyone know what the structure of first round interviews are like, i.e. more behavioral/technical?
First round tends to be very technical with MD, analysts, associates.

I asked the analyst interviewing me, he said we should hear back by the end of this week
Were the technicals mostly in line with what you would find in the guides or did they go beyond them and test in depth understanding of the concepts? Have heard Evercore tends to do the latter so was curious if it was similar for you
I would say just memorizing the guides is not enough. they started with the more basic questions but moved on to more in depth ones where you need to understand the concepts

Had Menlo Park interview today. Interview was about twenty minutes of actual questions. Nice people, seemed to be in a rush tho.
wdym by 20 mins of actual questions, like what were the "actual questions" like? also given this is a direct tech/HC intv, were any of the technicals geared towards specific covg?

From my conversation with my first round interviewer on Friday, it’s straight to superday. Superday will be this Friday, not sure why they haven’t sent out invitations yet.

I had my superday on Friday and received the offer on Tuesday afternoon.
Had my second round (skype interview) yesterday. I was told assessment centres (for the London 2020 Analyst Programme) would be beginning in early september. Anyone in the same boat?

I had a superday at their Menlo Park office on 8/9 and received an offer the next day. I think they had another superday the following week as well

Thought I might share to give people a bit more colour. Received a NY M&A offer today morning. Had my superday interview yesterday afternoon.
I guess if they want you, they'll be really fast with their offers. If you haven't heard within 5 business days, then I would guess they have moved on to the next batch of supers they're interviewing.
