How quickly after applying did you receive the hirevue invite?
Cant remember exactly but it was almost 2 weeks I think. Banks are slow af.
I think I received the HireVue after the application closed. My job status hasn't been updated since Mar. 6th so I think that means they haven't reviewed my HireVue yet.

I dont know if job status updating means anything - i've applied to other roles at ms (still going through the process) and sometimes they keep the status updated and other times they dont.
One time a recruiter at MS told me that means they updated whether they want to move forward post your HireVue. Either way man I hope we hear back next week.
Have you heard anything yet? I've heard nothing and my status still says "in review".
No luck on my end either. I know today is 2 weeks since the HireVue was due so I’m hoping we hear back by the end of the week. If not, I may send a follow up mail to the recruiter.

Yea I doubt it because MS gives their employees Good Friday off. Looks like we have to wait another with all this anxiety

For GCM? Yeah, it's gone radio silent since the info session via Zoom. I hope we know something soon. Finance in my neck of the woods is mostly FA/client services and this would really move the needle to something worthwhile.

I got the Hirevue for GCM. Have never done a Hirevue and am overthinking the type of questions will be on it. I know it's only three, and I want to flash some brilliance if possible.

Has anyone else heard back on any of the programs? I applied to the IBD program but still nothing. Status says in review still on the website
Hopefully this week something comes. I think I acquitted myself decently in the Hirevue. Some of the practice takes felt stronger than the finished product, but I did sound like I knew my financial stuff, so hope it leads to something this week.

Anyone receive an email requesting to schedule their IED superday, following the initial invitation received last Thursday 4/14? I haven't heard anything yet.
I have not heard back yet. I am guessing we will get something today or tomorrow. Assuming the interviews are next week, I am thinking the earliest we hear back is the week of May 3rd. You think they will still look to have the program in June?

Haven’t heard anything officially but given the extended recruiting timeline, perhaps they may delay the start date to September in the hopes that they can conduct the training program 100% in person.
Is the recruiter you guys reach out to Ms. Frieda? Sent her an email a week ago regarding GCM but no follow up yet. Don't want to come across as desperate and send another this week. Will just sit tight.

I received mine and I thought it was a super day but it says "1st round interview" in the email. For interview tips, just going to look up IED interview questions. I wonder if they will ask us the normal questions since the program is targeted around people without financial backgrounds.

Yeah had my hirevue for both IBD and GCM, and have only heard back from GCM so far. Considering someone else on this forum heard from IBD more than a week ago tells me that they might have chosen their people for that program.

I completed my super day yesterday for IED. it was 3 interviews back to back. Sent thank you notes and 2/3 responded to them. Don't know if that's a good sign or if there is another round. Any insight?

Yeah the IED Experienced Professionals Program - so technically it can be anything in that, but they all asked what I wanted to do and I said sales. Thought it went as well as it could have. Good luck, hopefully we hear this week

Has anyone been stuck in In Review for a while on the portal? I have some other things lined up outside of this, but nevertheless seeing I haven't been hit with the "no longer being considered" gut punch, I figure there's still a chance?
From what I heard, MS doesn't always update the recruitment portal in a timely manner. If you had a superday last week you're definitely in the running. Best of luck

It has to be the final round. But I haven’t heard anything official. I think we’ll hear back on Friday 5/21. Any later would be too late for a June start, especially with the Memorial Day holiday coming up.

Congrats on finishing. Interesting- I didn’t know that interviews were still ongoing. In light of this, I doubt that we’ll hear anything before Monday at the earliest.
to be fair, this last interview was supposed to take place last week but it was rescheduled. So maybe I was the one holding everyone else up

I had the 3rd round yesterday. Both interviews were 45 mins each so I assume it's the last one for sure.
What type of interview was it?
I think the people we interviewed with in this round was the team that we will likely work with in addition to more MDs
Did they ask you role based questions or are they just finding out if you are good for the team?
Mostly fit and technical.

This is a very interesting situation. Looks like some people had a 3rd round yesterday, for which they were notified in the morning and asked to complete it later in the day.
Many were not invited to another round of interviews. I’m thinking that those not invited to a 3rd round are either 1) automatically denied or 2) A decision has been made on the basis of the first 2 rounds (sufficient evaluative basis)
Looks like the 3rd interview will probably be used as a tiebreaker or placement interview, or a truly “final” round in which everyone not invited to a 3rd round is denied.
What do you guys think? Do you agree?
I interviewed with more senior people yesterday. Every single interview has been with people from different teams so I don't know if it's for placement purposes as much as it is for fit within the division. I think this wasn't a tie breaker because for the second round, it clearly said second round, not final. I have a friend who worked there years ago and he also went through 3 rounds total of 7-8 interviews so I think this is standard procedure for a FT offer.
I would check the application status on their portal. Mine was updated yesterday with "Interview in progress"
